Is there any reason why this holster, designed for a G17, wouldn't be 100% compatible with a G34 since it only clips around a couple inches of the trigger area?

    The CS response
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Our gun clip model is designed to fit only Glock 17, 19, 22 and 23 at this time. We may be releasing other models in the future and if so, we will post them on the website. We do not have any new model designs currently in the works, but maybe next year.

Thank you so much for checking.

I'm no expert by any means but it sounds like this CS rep is no expert on Glock Models either. Isn't the basic size on most of those models rather universally interchangeable with a few of their different caliber equivalents?

They are very specific, almost useless holster. If you have a Glock with light, optic, and suppressor that NO other holster will fit then its for you.

The way it secures the pistol is not like a thumbbreak. And almost have to use 2 hands to keep from dropping it when you release it.

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

I have read all three comments over and over and I still can't figure out what they have to do with the original questions.

I don't compete and I don't cc my G34. I DO however, coyote hunt with it using a laser and my Octane-9...hence the interest and the reason for the topic.
I like to wear it across my chest or down my leg and its way to much excessive movement to try and draw 8 extra inches of suppressor. This seems like it would fit that "very user specific" need that Cut mentioned.

The use, practicality and advantages of this system are of no concern.

I simply want to know if there is a dimension difference that would not allow this design to function with a G34, when it was created for a G17.

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

I have a gun clip. So I will try to go to my local gun store and try a G34 in it. No promises but will try.

Also, you do not need two hands to holster or un-holster.

    Thanks shotdown. VERY MUCH appreciated.
In case it matters, mine is a Gen III

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

For what its worth, Airsoft Atlanta had an ungodly looking Glock type pistol in one today when I was in there.

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

Anyone else with feedback on the G17 - G34 size difference?

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

Excellent news. Looks like I'll order one up and give it a proper review.

    Thanks!

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

I've been thinking about ordering one of those gun clips for a long time. It would be nice to see a good unbiased review.

Mine should be here the 15th so I'll give it a video review of my first impression and then give it a few weeks of getting used to it before I give a final review.

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

Initial inspection is VERY promising and I'm looking forward to giving this thing the full run through.
Really looking forward to getting the suppressor on and slapping it on a vest.

SAYS IN MULTIPLE SPOTS BOTH ON THE WEB, ON THE PACKAGE AND EVEN INSIDE THE UNIT THAT IT IS ONLY FOR 17, 19, 22 AND 23...
but it fits the G34 flawless (thanks WSprtuaL) and wouldn't you know it...the Advantage Arms 17-22 conversion as well.

Getting it OUT of the holster is an easy one hand motion...but putting it back is a two hand task...as to be expected with a retention button.
I'll give it a full video review this summer some time I suppose, but for now, I'm very happy.

    Re: Crye Precision GunClip™

practice it, you'll be able to get it down with one hand. i have short fat stubby hands and can do it with can and light attached. and for your application its freaking tits!
wish i'd have seen this earlier, i would have told you that you'd be ok with the fit. anything glock minus the 45(width) size frame it will fit. they just say that to cover their tail..
    happy hunting!
