How can you tell without removing the tip turret? Like just from a picture

I dont think you can tell if it has ZS just by looking at the scope.. You need to remove the turret cap.

As mentioned, the exterior appearance can denote whether or not it is ZeroStop or not. The domed top of the knob and opposing dual set screws that secure the turret cap in place are the best indicators.
The ZeroStop turret is also slightly larger in diameter and in height.
The non-ZeroStop scopes have a flat across the top of the cap and only one set screw that secures them in place.

Easiest is look for the 2 screws vs 1 screw on the side of turret. As mentioned above.
