lol this true they are big..the set up I use is a harris 152 on my plate carrier and a set of peltors pulgged in..then when I get in the truck I have a seperate cable that hooks up to the truck radios. So just a swap of the connection and I can talk in and out of the truck and the peltors stay on my head under my helmet(or ball cap) and good to go!
best of luck..take a look at the 152 way better set up..and harris makes a vehicle mount that the 152 plugs into and it becomes a truck radio with a power amp.
