Re: Where is all the ammo
I remember primers, small & large, were not available for months and when they became available they were rationed. I had just got the Rock Chucker Kit and could not load a round until 3 months later. Same thing for the powders that are popular for .223 & .308, could not find Varget for almost a year.
I used the 2008 election as the perfect excuse to buy every firearm I always wanted, but could not realy justify paying for like AR's & AK's, along with high-cap mags for everything firearm I owned capable of holding one. Took me 10 months to get my Rock River AR. I even purchased double-edged Bark River fighting knives after spending time in the UK where you can't even carry a pocket knife these days. Of course Obama used all his political capitol in his first term on that wonderful healthcare reform of his so he could not go after firearms. I think if he wins a second term he will go after them for real this time; we will see the assualt weapon ban become law once again as it's just in a Liberal's DNA and cannot be helped.
There is also no doubt that manufactors are taking advantage of this to raise prices, and creating "false shortages" to justify it would not surprise me one bit.
