HS Precision or B&C which one?

wherever I may roam...
Am trying to decide in which one for my Savage 11 build. Was originally thinking b&c, but my rifle uas factory dbm and the b&c wont take it. The new hs pro series is about $100 more, but will accept the dbm. Sounds like a no brainer, but just wondering what you guys think of these two choices? The rifle is a 308 getting an fp take-off barrel, to start with. Am building it to hunt and take to a class( hopefully in the near future).
Thanks for any advice.

HS Precision, I like the one on the HTR that is fully adjustable.

Re: HS Precision or B&C which one?

I have had a couple HS precision stocks. They worked just fine. I still have one on an SPS that I got as a take off and I am more than happy with it. Both had aluminum (I think) bedding blocks and worked very well. Much better than that crappy SPS stock that came on the rifle, that's for sure.

Cs, which of the HS and B&C are you looking at? For carry or prone?

I have the HS 2000 and B&C M40. The HS is lighter and easier to shoulder/ offhand. The B&C is heavier, bulkier, but better prone. Mine are on Remmies, but pretty much the same stocks. If you plan on humping the rifle, I would go HS.

Roggom,
I am leaning toward the hs psv, because what I've seen shows its available for the dbm. Where the b&c was only shown for a blind mag set up. The rifle will be a hunter, serving double duty as my precision set up to take to some classes, and who knows after that.

Right now I have a factory model 11.308 with dbm, egw flat base, harris 9-13 bipod, and stock pack. I have a Savage 24" fp take off barrel on the way, and am still deciding on an optic. Hope to pull MOA or better from the set up.

The aesthetics and ergonomics of the HS PSV is better suited for hunting, plinking and steel. Not to say you can not take it to school or even comps, just it will look and feel more like a long range hunting rifle. You might want to put an ad in the WTB thread, you never know.

Never used a BC but I've got 4 HSP and they have all been great. No problems and they are always good to work with. My 2 cents

Re: HS Precision or B&C which one?

I like the hst as well, but how well do the vertical grip designs shoulder for hunting positions( other than prone or bench)? I have never been behind this style of stock. I am sure there are going to be trade offs in a dual purpose rifle. I appreciate the input from those who have experienced both.
Thanks
