Recently I found out that my TRG bipod wouldn't stay lock on the TRG. At first I thought it was a bipod problem, so I contacted beretta and they sent me a new bipod. Turns out it was the chasis not able to lock it due to some issues. So I sent it back to beretta to fix two weeks ago. Got a call this morning telling me that the part that locks the bipod is backordered and it would take at least FOUR MONTHS. Anybody got any idea if there any way around this? Thanks guys.

Re: Help for TRG 22 problem

My suggestion,

buy a pic mount to slide onto the euro rail and get an atlas bipod. You can sell your extra TRG bipod on here and make up some of the cost.

Re: Help for TRG 22 problem

I agree with above, but if you must be one of the guys with the sako bipod, send me a PM and I will see if I have the part you need that I took off my TRG to replace with the Atlas.

Better yet, is this is the part you need, just pay for the shipping and its all yours. This screws right onto your chassis and is the quick disconnect for the TRG bipod.

StanwoodSpartan,
Nice offer...you just earned good guy points...

I put a Harris bi-pod on my TRG-22.
After a fiasco with the Sako scope base (about $300) that didn't work, I started using other parts that worked, and were far cheaper than Sako parts. But the rifle sure is sweet!
