just like the title says, any of the vendors here give any discounts on TAB gear stuff? Thanks in advance.

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

Sorry bth87, at this time we're not giving any discounts on any of our gear. Thank you for your interest in our products.

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

Plus, that price comes with his kick ass customer service. Do not hesitate to buy TAB gear.

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

Does the biatholon sling work with regular swivel studs?

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

The biathlon sling let's you mix and match swivels as you need to. There are no sewn in swivels on any of our biathlon slings.

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

That really doesnt answer my question. Let me rephrase: the last time I looked, the 2 options given when i was going to buy was either hooks or flush cups. Ive got the stock rem700 cylindrical swivel stud with a hole. Looking at the sling I see buckles I guess you change out for diffrent adapters (I have no care for). Out of the box if it will fit my stock swivel studs they have my business. If not; to hell with it! ill stick to my 550 cord fashoined simularly.

Re: TAB gear anybody give an SH discount?

Excuse me MGD, I apologize, I thought I tried to answer your question.

Please let me try again. I haven't had a rifle yet that I can't hang a TAB GEAR sling from and have the customer be happy.

When a customer places an order for a biathlon sling they have the choice of four different swivel attachments.

1. HK Hooks
2. Flush Cup Swivels, some people call them push button swivels.
3. HD Swivels. This is what will fit on a standard Remington 700 with sling swivel studs.
4. No swivels at all because the customer already has his own swivels, or the rifle has sling loops built in.

We can also put a Flush Cup swivel at the front and a HD Swivel at the back, or any kind of combination that you can think of.

I hope that answers your question. If not I'll try again.

Is there a solution to installing the TAB Biathlon sling onto a rifle that has sling swivels on the underside, which will prevent the rifle from flopping around?

I really would love a TAB Biathlon sling, but I'm not sure if it would work well on my rifle. I don't have swivels on the side of the rifle.

You might try having the rifle inbetween the straps and your back...That might hold it in place a little better. Or just buy and AICS!

You can shorten up the straps on each swivel as much as you can but with swivels on the bottom of the rifle it's just the nature of the beast that it'll move some.

You could also install some flush cups on the side if your stock too, that would take care of it.
