I posted before on this subject before and at that time figured it would be swept under the rug and nothing would come of it.
I was wrong.
He got it for trading Meth for sex with men and after watching the interviews on the News tonight find he even did it with a 13 year old, yet said he didn't know how old he was.
There were actual tapes of his interviews on the news.
They got him real good, sentenced to 38 days in jail but got out after 17 days for "Good Behavior. 17 days in jail???
Dealing with Meth, pedophilia {sic}[butt f--ing a 13 year old], soliciting young men for sex in exchange for meth and the list goes on.
Are there not some felony charges among all these things, yet he does only 17 days in the jail named after him?
The county commissioners changed the name of the facility from The Pat Sullivan Justice Center to Arapaho County Justice Center.
If there were any charges, such as dealing meth and the other things, that I think are felonies how does he get off with 17 days in jail? I thought dealing in meth was a felony.
The Thin Blue Line does exist I believe. I would never do anything like this but if I did I believe I would be under the jail and they threw the key away. Rant over. Regards, FM

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Disgusting, isn't it?

"Nothing to see here, these aren't the droids you're looking for, move along."

How's that for an echo?

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

At least our local radio 630AM has been keeping this topic alive, if it weren't for that I doubt anybody outside the police would even know. Corrupt as fuck.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Kudos for Mr. P on KHOW. He held the feet to the fire and didn't let it get shut up.
This guy [Sullivan] should be registered on the sex offender list at the least.
The more I see and hear on local news, tapes of interviews, the more it pisses me off.
He tarnished not only his office but the Badges of anyone who works there.
I really find it hard to believe that he only did 17 days and got off for good behavior. What about his behavior when he did all of this shit?
If anyone should know about commiting crimes and what happens to you when caught and they send you to the Big House it would be him, yet he has engauged in this shit for years and only gets 17days?
This whole thing pisses me off to the point that I will close here before I get banned. Regards, FM

I think it may be more than that like it;s not who you know but who you blow.

I couldn't agree more!

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Something is just basically wrong with this deal!!
Convicts regularly appeal their sentences to try and get out earlier, and sometimes they get what they want:
Can the people who think this is wrong appeal to the courts to get Sullivan more time or a harsher sentence, or is this just all said and done and he walks?
The things he did should, in my opinion, landed him behind bars for years not days.
I wonder if this is the end of it all?
At the least I think he should be registered on the sex offender list and up on charges for child molestation.
Just my opinion. Regards, FM

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Look up Officer Bisard from Indianapolis....just another example of those that hold themselves above the law and the establishment that backs them up.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

this needs to be corrected. One way or another

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

This is probably beating a dead horse, but I still wonder if any other charges could be filed against EX Sheriff Pat Sullivan and if they stick he could do some time???
The charges were of felony type things, drugs, dealing with drugs[bartering drugs for BJs] and the list goes on.
Once he is set free, is it all done?
I wonder how many people in the high end are involved in this and he is the Punk that goes down for 17 days??
Something stinks in that jurisdiction and it isn't only Pat Sullivan's dick. Who all was getting blown?
This crime deserves more than 17 days.
My thoughts. Regards, FM

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Absent are my critics,?? nothing to say?
This whole thing SUCKS in more ways than one.
I think a whole lot of sucking went on and we need to know about it. Far and fat chance that will ever come to be.

At the very least indeed.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

The whole thing is BS! I live in Arapahoe County and now I'm ashamed. Guess he is kinda above the law.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Know what? I was just going to spend some time to look up the judge so I could vote no... but I just decided to vote them all down next election.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

I heard a spokesman say that this sentence would be typical of anyone caught doing what he was doing. Not sure I believe that, but whatever. I think multiple factors including his age and being a former police officer. Could you imagine what the other inmates would do to him? He probably helped put some of them away. He would be trying to exchange drugs to not get some gay lovin. Its a little different on that side of the bars.

Re: EX sheriff Pat Sullivan convicted , served time

Granted, he is old, EX police etc.
With his background, he, if anyone, would know what happens to people like him behind the bars yet he did do the crimes.
I don't believe at all that anyone else that did the same things would not be in prison for years, not days.
The sentence did not fit the crimes!!
I would not want to be the warden of the prison he would be in. I would imagine he would be in solitary confinement for the duration for his own protection, yet I believe he knew what could happen and got away with it.
That judge should be his cell mate with whoever else let this go down. I think the line is long. Regards, FM
