Hey, I think I found a deal on Surgeon 591 actions on Brownells. They are on sale today for $100 less than everywhere else I have looked. You could also use the free shipping code. Hope this helps...

No problem. I was actually looking for their bottom metal when I came across the sale. I ended up paying $1,206 out the door. They charge $6 for FFL AOD fee. Only downside is that you probably can't pick the knob...

Don't purchase the bottom metal from brownells.. It is less expensive if you buy it direct from surgeon.

Short action DBM:

Brownells = $359.99

Surgeon = $326.00

Yes, or same price through site vendor: 3rd Generation Shooting Supply.
I've placed a lot of orders with those guys. Their site is very current, they ship fast, and they're easy to deal with.

That's true.. plus Third generation has a flat rate of $7.95 for shipping.. which is an excellent deal. - Better than direct from Surgeon.

Thanks for the heads up, I did realize the price bump. I thought I would find the bottom metal for $326 and was looking forward to getting free shipping, but the $30+ price difference does not make up the difference.

I wonder how much shipping is, if buying from Surgeon? 3rd generation is like $8..

Not sure what the shipping charge for just the DBM direct from Surgeon is.. I paid $25 to have an action and a DBM shipped from Surgeon to my FFL.

I thought Surgeon had minimum advertised pricing of $1,295? I got mine for $1,205.99 shipped. I just need to call in today to get fax number from them, so my federal firearms dealer could send them his FFL.

Plus Brownells guarantee applies to purchase, I think....
