Has anyone else been to spirit ridge rifle golf west of tremonton and want to go as a group some time? I've been a couple times and if you use the sportsmans warehouse coupons its worth the cost in my opinion ($38.00) and I'd like to head out again soon with a few other SH shooters if there is any interest.

Let me know, this isn't a sponsored event just get a group of Hiders out to have some fun if you would like. If i have posted this and it causes some sort of contention or upset because of a rule i'm unaware of please let me know. I am in no way affiliated with their course just a fan.

If you have never been they have 2 classes.
classic (no dialing, just hold over, out to 600 yrds for the course)
Masters (dialing of scope and out to 948 i think)

both the masters and classic have a 1K bonus shot included and if you hit you get a stroke taken off your score. Masters is a 8in steel and classic is 18in steel.

Yea I would be down to go with you.
Vortex is doing their Vortex Extreme shoot up there again this year so I would like to get a round in befor that. Do you remember how many they allow in a group? I know 3 others that would go as well.

I believe the groups are 4-6 people. Have to have at least four to cover their cost but no more than six to keep things moving. However I bet they would allow more if they don't have another group scheduled right after.

what day would you all like to go? the vortex extreme isn't till july and if you want practice before hand....what about May 25th or 26th?

Rocca, you left your gloves in my truck from the march price shoot. I think i still have them if not I owe you a new pair.

just let me know what day would work best for you all and I'll see if i can schedule it. use the thread and i will start a small sign up sheet for committed shooters. If we get more interest we may be able to schedule an entire morning on a saturday.

As far as i can remember it is 6-7 persons to a group and if you want to shoot with your pal make sure to list that you want to be in their group so you can. If not i will just throw you into a group to populate the groups.

I just emailed spirit ridge to reserve the at least 2 groups for the morning of May 26th. If we get more interest or less i will let them know. If we have an inbetween number we might be able to stick us all on 1 group if we have 7-8. But we will see who wants to shoot.

Bad news fellas. Spirit ridge said they can't do may or june because the owner of the property is running his sheep on the land. The email i recieved said the earliest they are taking reservations is July 1st.

I am still game for scheduling that weekend....so July 7th. The vortex extreme is scheduled for July 20th. That would give you some practice for those of you who are going to run the comp. As of right now lets schedule July 7th as our morning. Let me know who can and cant for that day forward.

Update.

I emailed Aaron at spirit ridge to schedule the 7th of July in the AM. Hopefully he will get back soon and I can post a time for when to be there and when your group will shoot.

Again i will let you all know and keep this post updated with any news that i get from them if something comes up. Plan on July 7th and having a good time.

If you haven't shot at spirit ridge you will need a maximum of 50 rounds i think. You would have to miss alot to use them all.
You will also need a method of transportation aka 4wheeler, dirtbike, utv. If you know someone else that is coming you could buddy up on their machine. Spirit ridge does have atvs/utvs to rent but they are a little expensive so if you can provide your own or use a friends its probably best.
The price to shoot is $50 unless you have a sportsmans warehouse coupon (riverdale/ogden store has them) then its $38.

You can't use a gun vice of any sort. Bags and Bipods are recommended.

Shots range from uphill to downhill in varying degrees.

Have fun in price. that is an awesome range and i wish it were closer to northern utah.

Got it, he is on the list. Hope you guys have been running and preparing. If you want to we will all take our quads and watch you two run! That would just be mean spirited on our part.

Sorry the post has been quiet. I was very busy with work and school so it wasn't a priority. Now that we are within 2 weeks i'll at least put up a daily comment of anything new.

I look forward to the company and getting my rear end handed to me in your company.

I added those names to the list and we are now at 2 full groups. I imagine they would allow us to add 1 more to each if there is anyone that is dying to go. But I hope you are looking forward to the shoot and if anything else comes up let me know and i'll change names and update you on the time to be there.

What time are we shotoing? One of the guys in our group has a wedding to get to that day so we would like to shoot the earliest time available so he can get on the road soon after.

7 AM at spirit ridge. I just confirmed the time and it looks like it is going to be a hot sunny day.

I will throw you on with the second group. I don't think they will have a problem with a 7th shooter in the group.
