I picked up my Les Baer TRS 1.5" yesterday and took her to the range straight from the gun shop.
I put 500 rounds down range in about 3 hours and couldnt wipe the smile from my face for hours after. I fed it 250 Federal American Eagle, 150 Remington UMC, and 100 Winchester white box. Although Les recommends a 3-500 round break in to be completely reliable, this thing had zero hiccups and just ran and ran and ran!
I used 3 Baer mags and 2 Wilson Combat mags and both seem to work flawlessly although the WC seem slightly better constructed. This thing shoots like a dream and I wont miss any of my old pistols and maybe now am ruined from buying any other pistol forever.
I will say to anyone who is looking for a terrific semi custom you should take a long hard look at a Les Baer. The TRS is like a bank fault feels solid as a rock. I dont think you can beat the price vs performance of this gun. Anyhow enough blabbing here's the fun part:
Fresh out of the box
Post 500 rounds!
Breaking her down, ready to be squeaky clean again
Here she is in her new set of shoes
