Truly professional build pal....really nice to see a rifle that hasn't had any corners cut or pennies pinched. Buy once, cry once
Now on another note, why go with a 20" barrel....personally I can't think of a single thing that a 20" 5.56 barrel can do that either a 18", or 16" 5.56 barrel can't do. The MV difference b/t my Recce and SPR is less than 100fps, and that 100fps doesn't even translate into even the smallest gain I've noticed until I get well past 600-700yds, where the 18" SPR bucks the wind slightly better.

lol wait til you get a 308 AR. </div></div>
I had one and got rid of it for that reason. My Crusader with the OPS3rd is probably close to 15lbs loaded
Very nice build. If your SAM-R shoots anything like the ones I've had, you will not be disappointed. What I liked most about them was that they held their accuracy and point of impact pretty darned well, even when smoking hot.
If I remember right, I shot this group with a SAM-R build.
It was the end of the day and my last 20 rounds. The barrel was already hot and I ran the last 20 rounds in under a minute. The target circle is 1" in diameter. I threw a few out. I was having a hard time with the 10X scope, but you get the idea. This was shot with a smoking hot barrel at 100 yards.
Hats off to you sir, very nice looking builds. What twist rate did you go with, 1:7 ...1:8? Id like for a precision upper to be my next serious buy. Haven't settled on whether I would like to stay in the the 223wylde/556 or move on to a new caliber. Running a fairly accurate rock river chomemoly 16" . I look forward to hearing what accuracy you're able to get out of that build.
