Which Geissele trigger?

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I've used the Geissele SSA (4.5lb) and I currently use the Geissele SSA-E (3.5lb) and I prefer the one I have now. It provides a good second stage break and the trigger itself is non-adjustable so I needn't worry about having to re-adjust anything.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I like the Geissele SSA-E model as I have one on an AR. I have the DMR model on a couple of my SPR's but I don't think they make them anymore or at least not under that name.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

ssa-e as said above for your repr. I have the standard ssa on my 556 ar though

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

Depends on your needs. I run the Geissele 3 Gun trigger and love it. Very short for faster follow up shots.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

SD-E

I prefer the flat trigger face and two-stage release.

If you want consensus, it looks like you aren't getting it.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

The DMR is still being made, I just installed 5 of them. I have tried out just about all of the triggers Geissele offers. In my opinion, if you are not real finicky with the exact weight and breaking point of your trigger, then get an SSA.

I have an SSA in all of my rifles, two precision and four carbines. Every one of them feels the exact same which is most important to me. Best of all, the SSA is the least expensive.

If you are the kind of guy that wants to adjust his trigger, the DMR is an awesome trigger.

If you would like a single stage trigger, the Super 3 Gun is probably going to be the one you want.

Hope this helps and watch for us to do another group buy in June.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I haven't used any other than the SSA-E, but I absolutely love it. Light, crisp, but most importantly consistent. When I finally nut up and get a GAP-10, it will have an SSA-E.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I have a SSA-E and S3G. They're both really nice triggers. As stated above the S3G is a fast hybrid trigger while the SSA-E is a clean crisp 2 stage. It really depends on what you're looking for...

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

Just put an SSA-E in my AR-10 and its pretty darn sweet from the 1st pull. It should be standard equipment.

This! I have a SSA, SSA-E, and HS Match (which is basically the same as a HS-DMR only lighter). Even though the match was $100 more, I don't regret it one bit... but the SSA-E is almost as good, and unless you are shooting side by side, you will not really miss the HS-Match.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I opted for a SSA-E over an SSA and I'm glad I did. I've pulled plenty of nice triggers but I could spend hours playing with me SSA-e. Its that freaking good.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I just put a SD-E in one of my rifles. Holeeeeeeee shit it's nice. I was really debating between the SD-E and SD-C, was kind of worried the SD-E would be too light. It's not, and really nice. I wouldn't run it on a work gun but for everything else I love it.

My understanding is SD-C is the flat bow version of the SSA, and SD-E is the flat bow version of the SSA-E.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

Just picked up a few Magpul products and a Geissele SSA-E trigger, thanks to all that replied.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

the DMR trigger is fantastic. ive got one on my 6.5 grendel ar and the second stage breaks very clean at 1.5 pounds

Just shot one of these triggers this past weekend and they are very nice indeed. It has a very short re set and breaks clean.

Never mind just saw you bought a SSA nice trigger as well dont think you can go wrong with any Geissele.

Re: Which Geissele trigger?

I have been assured from Geissele that the SSA-E large pin is not a myth and does actually exist and that they did not stop making it. I want one very very badly, has anyone seen any for sale anywhere?

it would be greatly apreciated

Re: Which Geissele trigger?
