I've had mine forever, don't remember when I got it, but wifey drug me through an antique store this afternoon and I saw one listed for $95.

These suckers can't be worth that much can they.

Re: Paratrooper switch blade,

Ah the old MC1. A couple of companies made these from '57 'till '93. I remember my dads (F4 reo) from the late 60s. Depending on age, condition, and maker (Camillus, Schrade, & Logan/Smyth) I could see that kind of price tag, although my guess is they'd take something closer to $65/70.

Re: Paratrooper switch blade,

Wow I think mine is still in my flight suit attached to the para cord, I can't beleave something so cheaply made could be worth more than 20 bucks.

Re: Paratrooper switch blade,

if it was well made, i'd spend about that much on it... then again, i have a knife fetish. and a vintage fetish... when the two collide... it's bad.

Re: Paratrooper switch blade,

Was in Rapid City yesterday and wife wanted to visit an antque store.

They had one in there priced at $95. I thought that was kind of too much.

Like you I"m into vintage stuff but I wouldn't pay that much, then again I wont sell mine either.

They had one of these silver US Camp knives also. They were asking $70. It was trashed.

I've asked outragous prices for my stuff also. but I'm not into selling stuff, so I price it accordingly.
