Thinking about carrying this as my weekend open carry pistol, in a shoulder holster of course. May even have it suppressed so it blends in even better.

Anybody know where I can get a trigger job done as well?

Pimptastic! I found holster for one at a gun show. I cannot imagine wearing it! Every time I see a desert eagle I marvel at its size. Kinda like seeing an NBA player in person.

I suggest you go with the gold-plated version so it blends even more. Don't forget to have one of you front teeth gold-plated to match. If it were me I would encrust said front tooth in diamonds that spell out .50AE.

I've got the Titanium Gold .50AE. It's my convenient store gun... and in the pelican for when I'm not picking up liquor...

A buddy of mine owns a couple. The look on peoples faces are pricless when he pulls it of his IWB holster to shoot and they had no idea he was carrying it. By the way both his daughters own and carry them. He calls them their, "Ghetto Guns."

Go with the gold plated one, if you run out of rounds you can blind them.

Funny story, old man who worked at the gun shop carried <span style="font-weight: bold">two</span> of these (chrome, .50ae flavor) concealed under his jacket. He got into a fender bender with a young guy during an ice storm on his way into the shop. Young guy is pissed, starts punching the old man's window & throwing a tantrum. Police show up, disarm the old man & when the young guy saw what he was pack'n he actually passed out.

A friend of mine HAD one. I fired one round and immediately knew that thing was, if it hadn't already, about to cause a hard to cure flinching problem and my pistol marksmanship that I'd managed to develop over 40 years needed no more impediments in addition to aging vision. I helped him trade the AE for a nice shooting TRP .45.

I wish I could think of an even SOMEWHAT legitimate reason to have a Deagle, but I can't - and I've tried.

I've taken two deer with mine. Got one at 30 yards on the follow up shot. It was a ridiculous second shot while it was running, buuuuut it did drop. Got her in the neck.

The second was a 21" inside spread 8 point. It was at about 5 yards.

Call me insane, but my guns aren't queens all the time.

As too conceal carrying... as you might guess, it's a bitch, but easily done during the winter. I've carried it once with a stout gun belt that I also had custom made. It helped hold it in place.

Aside from being my 0 dark hundred convenient store gun, it makes for a fantastic 'truck gun'.

Now I need that 'whip' to complete my gangsterness. Got a link?!

worst shooting experience I have ever had.. rented one and shot 50 rounds at a range... thought I wanted one too... after 10 rounds I wasted the last 40.... I would Never own a desert eagle.. They are cool to look at but really good for nothing.
