Gunsmithing Gunsmithing Jobs

Re: Gunsmithing Jobs

prolly could check with Les Baer's shop, Cylinder and Slide, pistol dynamics in FL, springfields shop, etc.........

hope cuttin your teeth isn't too painful. Tough career until you are known, but if you have some mad skills, you'll do fine over time.

Re: Gunsmithing Jobs

Brownell's has a Gunsmithing Job Fair every year, Was March 22nd this year...

Thats a good place to start, but if you didnt attend this year you'll have to wait for next years.

However, be advised, in this age of the plastic gun; good jobs, opprortunities and pay arent abundant unless you are an accomplished custom smith.

Re: Gunsmithing Jobs

I attended the Brownells career fair, just waiting to hear back from the companies I left resumes with. and Im from the Indiana side of Illinois, about 45 minutes from Evansville. Les Baer is an option but I'd like to go either south or farther out west. Plus I'd be fitting one part all day long. Id like to be a little more versatile. I guess this early in my search I'm just being picky.
