Good for her! Didn't seem to aim to me, but maybe she practices point shooting. In any case, a successful end.......hostage safe and shitbird dead.

I like the part where the reporter says she's like any other housewife, only "tubbier". And he mentions that the camera crew was so close to the action that they could feel the aura of the policewoman.

I think in this country that would get very bad publicity and spun the wrong way, everyone would bitch that not enough was done to try and end the confrontation peacefully. On the flip side, if the hostage was killed by her assailant everyone would be up in arms that the police did not act as quickly and aggressively as they should have. Clearly this is not the mindset in China, and as a results a hostage situation ended in 3 seconds.
