I picked up a swfa super sniper 16x the other day. What scope rings should i get for a .223 bolt action and what size do they need to be? thanks

Re: swfa scope help

Please see first sticky in this forum, should have everything you need.

Re: swfa scope help

The tube is 30mm, so 30mm low rings should work - Seekins, Badger, Aadmount, etc.

I'm running a SS 3-9 on my Savage 10PC .308 bolt gun using Aadmount lows - Scope fits with room to spare if I want to put on butler creek caps.

It also somewhat depends on your barrel contour. Are you running a heavy barrel? Most all of the major vendors should be able to answer your questions if you tell them what scope you have. Go as low as you can without the scope objective touching the barrel. I'm still betting that lows should work.

A quick call to SWFA tomorrow will get you the answers you need.
