Hunting & Fishing Picking up bones ???

Anyone do good picking up sheds this year ?

Kinda tougher year here, very open winter kept the critters scattered out.

Have found some okay deer sheds and one matched set of elk sheds that were last years so far. Gonna head to a couple favorite spots this afternoon and Sunday and see what is around.

Oh, I thought your title was 'pics of boners'!! I had to hurry up and delete my old wrinkled thing, was a bit emabarrassing I must say. Better get to the optomitrist so I don't make that mistake again!

Been slow down here too! Spread out and packing late.
We did manage to scrounge up a few.

Walked by this one the first time! DAMNIT!

Then Called my buddy (metal2meat) over and he found MY OTHER ANTLER! DAMNIT AGAIN

But guess who came home with the pair! hahaha

I'll be headed over to NE Oregun next Tuesday for 3 days to chase turkeys and look for sheds, if I find anything worthy of posting I'll post it up.

NMpistolero those are some awesome elk sheds- nice find!!

i've heard of folks that have shed sniffing dogs.

seriously, no jokin', they use them to find sheds.

my buddy has one... he saddles up, his best friend trails right behind em in the canyons, pines, and prairies, and sniffs em out all day long, seen the front 1/2 end of a 16ft horsetrailer full of deer and elk sheds after a few weeks.

Everything grew up so thick with the early Spring we had in Southeast Oklahoma that it's pretty hard to find a shed around here!

You can sell the brownies for a pretty good chunk of change . The white ones get piled in the flower beds .

Moved some elk around I guess when I was gone all day..

their tracks on top of my tire tracks.

Picture is me driving out over the top of their tracks again.

Still some good snow in the peaks...

SHITASS!!!!!! When the going gets tough-(and you can't find your other antler), who you gonna call- METAL2MEAT! If anyone ever gets the opportunity to hunt sheds with nmpistolero, be prepared. He's the most competitive shed hunter ever! I've been pushed, knocked down, tackled, cussed till the sun set, and even had my antlers disapear when he's around!

Just giving you shit brother, your my best partner in the woods!
