Rifle Scopes Can someone tell me what this scope is?

I'm in the market for a 40x rifle or barreled action and would like to buy this rifle with the intention of selling the scope, anyone care to enlighten me, importantly how much it's worth?

Looks like a Leupold Fixed 12x BR scope. That is mounted wrong

not fixed... it has an adjustable objective for power...

I forgot to mention that the poster said it was a leupy 12x, can anyone give me a price estimate? I'm not sure where to place it b/c of it's age.

Not wrong just differently than most are used to. Benchrest shooters that like to dial wind sometimes rotate their scopes so that they can reach the windage and elevation knobs without having to give their rifle a reach around. I have a FX-3 6x mounted on my 22lr set up the same way for shooting 200 yards with as I am learning to dial wind with that setup.

And to the OP try asking about this scope over on accuateshooter forum as many there are fans of the older bechrest scopes.
