Rifle Scopes SS HD 1-6 turret thread protectors

I know this is uber premature, but I'm thinking ahead.

Anyone know if SWFA is going to offer thread protectors for the turrets on the upcoming 1-6x24 SS HD?

I plan on running it with no caps on, but my OCD will kick in worrying about jacking up the threads for the turret caps.....

I believe it comes with them.

Yes, that is one of the features is the thread protectors.

Guys - read the post again. He wants to run the scope with the turrets exposed, meaning the threads will also be exposed. In other words, will there be such a thing as a thread protector (not the turret covers) that allow exposed turrets while still protecting the threads.

As if anyone except SWFA can answer this question, I would offer you the option of buying a second set of turret covers, and have them cut down, so they only protect the exposed threads.

glock24 - SWFA has said there would be a set of thread protectors included for this exact application. They come with the scope. Thus they are a feature as noted above. They come in addition to caps - as shown in the right hand pictures in the graphic above.
