SCAR 17 optic

I'd like your opinions on an optic for my new SCAR 17S.

Here are the three I've most seriously considered:
Elcan 1.5-6x
Leupold Mark 6 1-6x
Leupold Mark 8 1.1-8

I'm favoring the Mark 6 because it seems to have the best value for a reasonably weighted, rugged optic with a ~ 1x low end magnification with a respectable high end magnification to let the 308 get out there a ways.

So in short I value:
*cost
*durability
*nearly unmagnified on the lowest setting
*6x or above on the high end
*weight

In no particular order.

What are your thoughts?

I have the Elcan 1.5-6x on my scar17, love it.

pros: fantastic glass, usable red dot during the day, minimal flaring on the illuminated cross hairs in low light. Built like a tank. Can quickly change from 1.5x to 6x.

cons: bit on the heavy side. eye relief is a bit touchy.

Was gonna come in here to say the Elcan SpecterDR in 1-4x and 1.5-6x seems popular for the SCAR, but I see Judgement has it covered already

I sure like the nightforce 2.5-10x32.

Great optic on my LMT MWS so I'm sure it would be great on the SCAR.

If you got the cash the IOR/Valdada 1-10x26 Eliminator would be the bee's knees...

We use the Leupold 1.1-8 and USO 1.8-10 on ours and they are both good to out to 1,000y. The USO is lighter and less money but the Loopy works a little better for very close in engagements...

I'd go for the Elcan. They are some of the nicest low magnification scopes I've looked through.

Use the Elcan on a SCAR H for work. Solid scope but i wish the reticle had some hash marks for lead and lag (neg lead). Like the bar that locks in the magnification.

+1 the Nightforce 2.5-10x32 is a great scope for the SCAR 17 IMO.

The NF 2.5-10 is working really well for me. And I've not had trouble with the LT-104 QD clamps on the left side. I'm waiting on an ADM Recon mount and plan to give the USO 1.5-6 DPF a try as well. The USO is Mil/Mil and the NF is NP-R2.

I went with the Burris 1.5-6 XTR with OBR mount. I wanted a low mag scope that could still be used at range. I can hit man sized at 700m about 75%. Shooting past 300m with most low mag scopes is a joke and I don't want to be left hangin if I have to engage at range.
