Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on which riflescope you think is best for engaging targets at 1200m +

first of all you need to be checking with your unit and see what optics they are gonna allow over here. it takes someone approving(usually a Company co)unless your civilian to bless off on somthing like that.
second keep it simple and fast and reliable this is no static range here. I would say a Horus would not be a bad choice but make sure you know how to run it..combat patrol is not the place to test new stuff lol.
lot of people over here are running HDMR'S and of course the run of the mil leupolds
anything of quality that fits those requierments and you comfortable with it should be a fine choice.
P.S. I don't think the mirage is any worse here over any other desert..there pretty much all the same.

I may know for certain that specific "special" units in Afghanistan are using NightFOrce optics on 762, 338, and .50. Good enough for them, good enough for anyone. Just pick something you know how to use and make sure your DOPE is good.
