Hi guys. Just joined sniper's hide, so quick intro! I am from the uk and own a brand new ssg 69 p2 in 22-250, Nightforce nxs 5.5-22x56, Harris bipod. I am kind of new in precision shooting and debuted shooting with my old rifle which was a Rem 700 in 308. Nothing exciting!!!!

Meanwhile I was saving my pennies to replace my Remy, I decided to put a deposit towards my new Ssg 69. Wasn't orriginally going for a Steyr but managed to find a brand new one for less then the third of retail price! Which I certainly don't regret !!! Although while was saving my hard earned cash, I read a lot about the rifle and it has certainly a few issues, which are- sloppy stock, brittle mag and too much plastic components. Ouch!!! Not good. I kind of thought if I might have made the right choice but yesterday found on YouTube a new conversion kit from Styria arms which replaces the trigger gard and convert the old rotary mag with an AICS mag feed. So send them email and hopefully will get a response ASAP.

So any Ssg 69 owners and are affected by this problem you might strike lucky as they are putting this part in production as we speak. Will keep you posted of any updates cause I am would love to get a 10 round mag with a quality steel trigger guard.

Cheers
