Anyone help a guy out with some dope out to 500yards? I got it zero'd but I didn't get a chance to get a muzzle velocity or a come ups for longer distances. Does anyone have any starting point with this combination. I've found some data on the forum, but not for this exact combo. I know it won't be perfect, but it is better than nothing. I actually can get out this weekend for the CRC shoot, but I can't get out till then, so I'll have to learn on the fly.

Well, I guess I could post before the experts jump in...
Im going to be finding my own personal dope this week with my developed load and might be doing it primitively, but it should be consistent other than wind variations...
Setting up paper targets this week just out to 6-700y, all I have access to, and doing a couple 3 or 5 shot groups at each target that will be set up at 100y points out to the max of 700. Once I record those, I will bring them each in to do the X50's (150, 250, etc.) and recording those just to have a middle dope for uneven distances.
Of course I will be using LARGE cardboard boxes with shoot n see targets, or market paint with a spotting scope.
They are probably easier ways, but I enjoy a challenge here and there...

The easiest way if you don't have a Chrono
This took me 5 min to figure out it ain't perfect but it'll work until you chrono it
Have scope zeroed at 200 yards
guess your fps and put it in to a calculator to get close at 300 yards
Then adjust your scope to you hit bulls eye At 300 yds
Find your dope for 300yds
Play with the fps in your calculator until its says the same dope that you adjusted up to at 300yds

depending on charge a good guess would be 10-11 moa @ 500 yds

I have that rifle, I shoot a copy of the M118LR with the 175SMK. At 500 yards I got 3.4 mils. That's 2550 at the muzzle.
