Congratulations. It is very satisfying to get a barrel that performs well. What kind of velocity are you getting out of the 32" barrel?

Muzzel diam is .950 Going to chrono loads this weekend think I am getting 2650 with berger 185bt useing 42 varget.Got rid of sav nut and had them put barrel on like rem .

Just got a 31 " Bartlein 308 with medium palma contour and 5R. It's getting installed on my Savage 11 Long Range Hunter now. Can't wait to try it out!

was getting around 2700fps with 43 grains varget and around 2750 with 44 grains with Berger 185 lrbt.44 grains bolt was getting sticky and group opened up.I am going to stick with 43 varget wich puts me just above 1.2 mach at 1000 yards.
