So I just got one of these, and it's a blast... Anyone else play around with it?

Also, is it better on an iPhone 4S?

I'll try to post pictures from it.

I am really liking mine it works like a dream video mode is unreal using the IPhone 4S. Folks at usnv told me the 4S IPhone was taking the best pic/video vs the older iPhones.last night I attached my pvs-14 with IPhone camera adapter to my day scope using the nightoptics day/night adapter taking video through the rifle scope. Kind of cool I don't know if I would shoot a big rifle with this setup do to recoil concerns but on a 22 it would be pretty cool.

Wait another day or two, I hear that Mod Armory has a new low-cost iPhone adapter coming out. You might want to check their website on Monday.

Not even close to the quality we put out. Looks really similar to our initial design that we discontinued...
We have numerous adapters, colors and shall I say, do they have an app for that???? We do and you'll see it released shortly. GPS tagging, Time Date Stamp just to name a few of our app features. All free to the buyers of the original iPhone NV adapters.

To answer your question about the iPhone 4s vs iPhone 4.

The 4s is exponentially better for photo/recording use. It can record in 1080p (full HD), has an 8 mega pixel camera, dual core processor, and the microphone was vastly improved.

The iPhone 4 only has a 5 mega pixel camera and records in 720p with a single processor.

In the end you will get extremely better footage with the 4s.

For less than half the cost, the MOD Armory version is smaller and does exactly the same thing: holding the camera lens in place behind the PVS-14 eyepiece while allowing the user to lock the iPhone's orientation to the PVS.

And who needs any color other than black at night?

The cost alone sold me. I'm guessing it costs less than $40 to manufacture in quantity, so the USNV markup is, well, pretty darn high.

I suppose an app might be cool, but if it's for sale at the App Store, it doesn't matter which adapter is being used, they all do exactly the same thing.

I don't understand the features. Every picture/video taken on an iphone (and most other phones) has the GPS location and time/date as well as the serial number of the device, and other metadata embedded. In fact, from the iphone you can view a map of all the places you've taken photos.

what does the app do? obviously I'm missing something (quite common when I post late at night
