If anyone has any data on the 338 Lapua, I would like to know in general how far off the lands the bullet likes to sit. I realize all are a bit different but a good starting place would be great.
i would like to know as well esp if anyone has any experience with the 300 gr bergers. my 110 BA is scoped up and ready to go just need a little reloading info

What rifle are you shooting? Often times, it's easier o load to mag length and then see what shoots well.
This being said, I was one who got picked for the Berger 250gr hybrid test and instead of fiddling with powder, I played with seating length.
I can go right up to ~3.735" in my TRG-42 and be mag safe. The rifle has about 950 rounds down the pipe, so there's no doubt some throat errosion going on.
I did single feed most of these, which I've never really done over the six years I've shot the rifle.
Thanks, I appreciate the info. I am shooting a GA Precision Crusader in .338 Lapua, It shoots great with factory ammo but I know it is capable of much better.
