I have a 6.5 Creedmoor custom build arriving sometime in the fall and am building a 22lr little brother to it. I have decided on the CZ 455 Trainer as it has a similar Manners T4 stock. I need a recommendation for a scope much less expensive than the Nightforce F1 that will be on the Creedmoor, but with similar features. So far, the Vortex Viper PST Rifle Scope 30mm Tube 4-16x 50mm with the MRAD reticle and MIL knobs seems to be the closest. The $900 for the Vortex is more than I wanted to spend, but I will if nothing else quite fills the bill. I appreciate your input.

I run a .22 LR match here in Utah where a lot of guys try and build their guns around their centerfire rifles. A common scope is the Falcon line which seems to do hold up very well with the rimfire crowd. Another popular one is the SWFA 3-9 FFP.

Best of luck to you sir.

I have a falcon on my 22 and I'm pleased with it. The SWFA or Bushnell 3-12 are higher quality with higher prices. You can find any of them used on the exchange at a price that keeps your 22 from becoming too expensive.

There is a BSA FFP scope out there, Millet has one too. Then there's the Vortex 5-15 mildot model through midway but I'm pretty sure they are swamped with orders on it.

I have a super sniper 3-9 for sale if you're interested. It has the new style reticule.

I'm pretty sure that Millet does not make an FFP scope.

Definitely want turrets. I don't yet have any training in this area but I'm guessing being able to adjust turrets either without the advantage of light or not losing your sight picture would necessitate the use of turrets?
