I have been here for 3 years now, I have watch several dozen MST100 go through here. I saw the "last run thread back in 2009. The demand seems to be there for builds. The market seems to support the price tag. Why don't you build them all the time? I'm not saying build them for stocking in a store but as custom builds?

Just curious?

I have called before, they told me that "they are currently unavailable, and they can't take orders"

Check the scopes for sale forum over the last two weeks. There was one listed for sale.

Dave, Jeff and JBW#3 have accounts here. Maybe PM one of them?

Re: Hey USO, I have a question for you guys!

from my understanding, the MST line are difficult scopes to build. Even though it's a really old design, it takes a lot of time to build them(as you can tell from previous builds). Call USO and talk with John or Arnold and see what they tell you, I've thought about a huge MST order to stock and have brought it up.......you never know

Thanks Lazy, I was unaware of construction issues. I always try to look at things from a supply side. I'll make a call

Alaskaman,

The MST-100's are very time consuming to build. Everything is made out of steel. Every knob is perfectly timed. It takes our machine shop a long time to machine the parts. This scope is the epitome of a hand built scope. I hope this helps.

Thanks Jason, I did not know that about them.
