Rifle Scopes Remington 700 5R, SS 5 x 20 x 50 HD and Badger

Have the 5R .308 and the Super Sniper 5x20x50, will Badger rings standard .823 height, Badger .20 MOA base, and Butler Creek covers work without clearence issues? THX

I have the same ring/base setup mounting a Mk4 6.5-20 x 50 on a Remmy 5R. Enough clearence for the Butler Creek caps, but not too much.

I have the exact same set up, but I have low rings.

Badger ring height call-outs are a little confusing inthat their "standard" is their lowest at .823". Those rings on their 20 MOA base is an ideal setup for a 50mm objective on a Remmy 5R. There is enough room under the Butler Creek cap for a mirage band, but no more.

I would not want anything higher.

I used a NF 56mm in NF low rings (.885) I believe on the same setup. 5R with NF 20MOA base. Fit fine with Butler Creek caps.
