Hi all,
Was curious if there is a difference in go/no go gauges from various companies. Are there better ones then others or are they all pretty much the same. I need to order a set for a savage .308 build I am working on and don't know if there are better gauges or if it doesn't matter. Thanks for the help.

Re: GO/NO GO Gauge question.

Any brand are usually fine, but the general rule is to order all your gauges for a particular caliber from the same manufacturer as they would be using the same master tooling to QC them.

Forester are probably the most common ones to be found for standard calibers.
