Looking to buy a gas gun in .223 was wondering what most of you comp guys are using. I shoot precision rifle in matches out here but the ar platforms look like fun also.

Re: advice on good 0-600 yard comp gun

Thanks any thoughts on the Sig 516? a 2.5-10 nighforce should cover that as well or do you have another suggestion.

Could you post a picture of your setup to point me in the right direction? The white oak

You have not been led astray: White Oak is your answer

This young lady is shooting my Service Rifle Upper. I shoot it in HP Rifle matches, 200, 300, 600 & 1000 yards.

Does she shoot competitively? You must be quite proud.

seriously? i read where a CAG operator recommended it once, thats why i did

Re: advice on good 0-600 yard comp gun

I've looked around myself for the same thing. What I've come up with...

Noveske, BCM, Spikes, White Oak, and Stag are all well rated.

Mostly, like with any gun, it'll come down to what you wanna pay for it. Noveske will be at least $2k, whereas Stag will be around $1k.

And Glen Beck talks about CAG so it must be legit

Pretty much everyone around me that shoots service rifle or F class with a small frame AR is using White Oak.

Nope, she is dry firing, I make her dry fire about 30 min before she shoots.
