Vortex is pushing out four new models to their Razor HD line. Two new 10mil per rev models and two new 25MOA per rev models.
Each model staying at the $1,999.95 retail price.

ETA New Models: We expect to start shipping mrad riflescopes later this Summer and early Fall; ETA of MOA models to be determined.

I like it, seriously thinking about picking one up. With the release of the 1-6x Gen II Razor I was wondering if Vortex would be updating the 5-20x into some kind of Gen II configuration but this development makes me think they have no such plans for the immediate future.

I asked Vortex that exact question a week or so ago and they said no, they were not updating the 5-20 Razor with the new 6x mag factor or changing reticles.

Awesome I'm in need of a new vortex now I just have to wait. Upgrading my old one to the new turrets would be nice. Hope it happens

Yes i just recieved an email back from vortex $250 for both turrets is what they told me

Do you have to get both done? Rarely do I adjust wind, mostly hold for it. But elevation is use all the time.

wish they would sell the scope sans all the extra crap. gonna be real hard choice between an F1 and this when the time comes

You can only do 1 if you want.

Hey Guys,
For now we are only doing both windage and elevation. It will cost $250 and that includes shipping back to you. We will start scheduling appointments now and will start swapping turrets for those scheduled appointments in a few weeks. Please call our Customer Care department to schedule.

I can certainly understand where you are coming from, but I think there has some been some miscommunication as the elevation turret is much more expensive than the windage turret. I cant think of the exact numbers, but the elevation turret is about 2.5x more expensive than the windage turret. This because it is a much more complex part, since it has the zero-stop in it. Overall the elevation turret has 12 more parts in it than the windage.

Is the cap the same height as the old 5 mil knobs, or we're you able to shorten it some?
