KMW Sentinel stock availability

Hey All,
I am wondering about the immediate availability of a KMW Sentinel stock inlet for a surgeon 591. I haven't seen a stock available on Terry Cross' site for quite some time, and the year long wait for one is daunting to say the least.....

I building up a 7 SAUM, to be identical to my 6.5 CM and the only missing part at this time is the stock.....

Anyway, any help is definitely appreciated

Unless you luck into one on the For Sale here......its a year wait unless Terry puts up a surplus stock for sale.

Email Terry and order the stock you want and be patient. Terry is a one man operation and selling the stocks is secondary to his agency builds.

I got mine much faster than that. I think he orders in batches and I must have got lucky and ordered when he was about ready to place an order.

Hurry if you want one, he's said on a post that he's thinking of ending custom stock orders, just as he did for rifles.

He isn't doing batches anymore. He orders what he needs only. I would hope he doesn't end the ability to order the Sentinel, that could potentially hurts income.

Any idea when you might take customer spec builds again?

From Terry:
Taking customer spec builds easily quadruples the email and phone traffic. I would wager that roughly half of the those customers require responses to email and/or phone multiple times a week starting the day after the deposit is received here. If I have 100+ rifles in cycle and half of the customers require that type of interaction, KMW is just not the best fit for that business. In fact, I may stop taking custom stock orders because of the same thing.

Last time I spoke with him on the phone (Jan/Feb) he said stocks are taking about 16 weeks give or take once he sends you the invoice. He said McM had sped things up a bit recently. Where is this 1 year wait stuff coming from? Has something changed recently?

Here's my take on this. If I waited almost 20 weeks to get my T2A, I can definitely wait 20 weeks or longer for a Sentinel.

Go ahead and order the stock, drink a few beers for the next couple of months, eat a few jars of cajeta, and before you know it you'll be dry humping your Sentinel like there is no tomorrow.

I had to look back at my email, mine took exactly 6 months, receiving it in April.

I ordered one in October an still don't have it. I really like these stocks, but 8 + months now is a little long.

I took a shot and picked up the phone and made a call.

I lucked out, he had two extra coming back from McMillan for Badger actions and I scored one in 6 weeks.

You never know and a phone call doesnt hurt.

It has the KMW bottom metal, adjustable cheeck piece, and is for a short action Remington. Anybody know how to post a pic ?

Bud, you cant sale anything unless you have 100 CONSTRUCTIVE post. If I were you I would edit that before you get booted.

just guaging interest, nothing is for sale until I know I have a replacement on the way, Im a one rifle guy here...

I gave him my deposit back in December so it's been about 6 months for me so far. I have minimal luck with phone or email replies so I'm sure he's quite busy. I'd be glad to see it arrive by Christmas but we'll see. NFA xfers have tought me great patience.
