Below is rifle/ target shooting prone with bipod, first time firing at 300yards (normally shoot at 100 w/benchrest)

Sure look purdy. I've been thinking about one in 300 wsm but havent been able to convince myself go for it. Let me know how you like the optics.

Federal Premium Gold Match .308 168g sierra BTHP.

As far as the scope I like the idea of having an illuminated reticle without having to worry about batteries. However I had some trouble focusing the target and the crosshairs at 300, but remember it is a new scope for me and I am a new shooter.

More testing needed.

One positive is that the base/ring/scope combo has very little space between the scope and the gun.

Looks great! I'm not real familiar with FN products. Gonna take a look when I get a change.

you could have picked a worse rifle, great choice. keep your cheeck on the stock while cycling the bolt and follow through, your groups will shrink.
