SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

We are expanding our offerings, and are stocking popular reloading components for match and practical rifle competitors.

Shipping time will be minimal, as these items require no manufacturing or packaging on our part, we just put them in a box and send them out the door.

We plan on carrying bullets from Lapua, Hornady, and Sierra. We will carry brass from Winchester, and Lapua, with Remington brass for 260. For now, powder and primers will be for local pickup only.

There are a few items on the webstore now, under brass and bullets. Many more will be added soon.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

Awesome. Looking forward to buying components.

Side questions. I read on another thread that you guys were using IMR 8028 XBR in some loads. Have you been happy with the results thus far? Do you still prefer Varget and H4895 in the 308/175 combos?

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

We do use imr8208 for some loads. Varget and h4895 are very good powders for 308/175's.

Results with the imr 8208 are great to use especially with 5.56 loading. 308 we are recieving great results so far.

Thanks,

SW

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

Will you be stocking the Hornady 178 BTHP? According to Hornady, the BC is .530, a tad better than Sierra's 175.

I'd like to try it out.

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

I live in Chandler Arizona and would like to see some once fired .45 apc brass and somewhat inexpensive bullets to go along with.

Also plan on doing some .308 match and ELR loading for this round, so some quality brass and bullets for this as well.

Be in to check out your store soon as I'm close by.

Keep up the good work Steeler.

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

178's are in the plans. So are 208's.

right now my pet load for my .308 is a 155 scenar, but i am sure that might change with the new barrel.

for pistols right now i load mostly for .44mag and 38spl/357magnum/357 rem max. but I am looking into loading for .45acp for IDPA use.

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

Varget
Retumbo
175 gr SMK
300 gr Berger OTM Tactical
Fed 210 M
Fed 215 M
Lapua Brass for 308 and 338 LM

That is my grocery List of compenents. If you carry this stuff at a competitive price you will get all my business. I live in Chandler and do my best to support local businesses. When will you guys be up and running with this stuff?

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

Win brass in next week, we have some primers, lapua brass coming soon.

We will also offer dillon products, bullet feeders, dies, trimers, ect.

Re: SW Ammo to start stocking reloading components

Please include some H4350 and H1000 if you're planning on stocking Varget.

For pistol stuff, 10mm/40S&W, 38sp/357mag, and 9mm components would be great!

Most of these items just got added to the webstore before the weekend. We have some 45 bullets, and plenty of once fired brass ready to go. Also have a little Lapua 308 brass in.
