Ruger Gunsight Scout magazines...

Do these work in the AICS? They're listed under the tag for AICS on at least 2 online stores and they're much cheaper but almost constantly out of stock.

Anyone tried this or know themselves?

The metal version should be good to go. I believe they're made by Accurate Mag.

I tried one of the polymer ones with my 6XC in a PTG bottom metal. I had to sand off a lot of the ribs on the Mag to get it to fit in the DBM. I also had to try to modify the feed lips for the XC round. By the time I was done with it I had a useless mag. If you have a 308 it would probably work. But havng to modify the feed lips ruined mine.

I tried one of the Ruger 10rd polymer mags in an AI AE, and it was totally impossible. You might be able to dremel it into submission, but it'd probably disintegrate in the process.

Aren't the metal ones the Accurate Mag .308 mags?

Lol I wish I had checked into this before placing my order today. Oh well, I figured I'd jump on them while they were in stock so I may as well try for myself when they get here. I'll let you know my findings on them in a .308 in AICS.

If they don't fit...I might purchase them from you as I have a Ruger GSR and a Savage with CDI.

After testing them, my results agree with you, Arbiter. Tons of dremeling would be necessary and I don't think I'll be doing that.
