Gunsmithing What DBM to run on a .338 edge?

I asked this question in the "bolt action rifles" section... I figured this would be a better place. I picked up an 700 LA and stock on the hide a few weeks ago. I am going to do another build with it. Right now I have the 700 action on a McMillan varminter stock. The action has been bedded with CDI dbm. What bottom metal would I have to run to do a .338 edge build? I see alot of buys running wyatt's?? What mags and DBM will I have to get to get the build going? Dumb question, but is there a mag I can run in the CDI I have? or do I have to change everything up? Thanks

My Current loads for my EDGE are 3.850 OAL. When I chamber my new BBL they will be Very close to 4". You can Jam them down in there short and run a few of the available mag systems but your losing a lot.

30" BBL and extra case capacity is what makes the EDGE Shine. If you lose that you might as well run a LM or RUM.

Even with a wyatt's I will have to run a shorter OAL? hummm

Look at a Seekins DBM. His 338 Lapua mags advertise 3.9" OAL.

Go with the Seekins, that's what I run on mine and it is great.

+2 on the Seekins. Its the one I use on all our Edge builds that require a DBM.

Thanks guys. I was talking to a friend. Maybe an internal box would be the way to go? If I do get dbm, It sounds like it will be Seekins.
