Just saw a Complete CMMG LR .308 Rifle at my Local Gun Shop. It has a Stainless 18" Heavy Barrel, Flat top receiver and free floating forearm rail that match to the receiver as well. Looks Very Sharp and High Quality. The price is also fairly reasonable. Comes with Magpul PRS Fully adjustable Stock and MOE Grip. Just wondering if anyone own or shot one of these before? If so, how are the results? Accuracy and Quality Wise compare to some of the more popular brands? Any input is greatly appreciated as I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these. They are a mixture of DPMS, CMMG and I think YHM parts. For the price they aren't bad at all.

If you go over to the 308ar forums you'll find it's being reported they have an annoying problem. There's supposed to be a problem with the screws for the rail constantly coming loose. Another report of failing to eject after 300 or so rounds. Failing to see one in action in person I think I would just stick with a DPMS. Not sure how well you can rely on CS to make a CMMG right if you have a problem.

I added some A.R.M.S flipups, VORTEX HS 5.5-15-40mm on a PEPR mount QD.
It LOVES BLACK HILLS 175!!

Their 1:10 twist medium-heavy 18" barrel is a DPMS SASS barrel I think.

EDIT TO ADD:
Mine is attached to a DMPS A2 built lower... The factory trigger SUCKED... but is now MUCH better after polishing it up a bit.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I currently have a fully assymbled DPMS LR .308 Lower with 2x20 round magazines. However it just seems so hard to find any DPMS Complete uppers in stock Anywhere! I'm seriously debating to just sell the completed lower and buy Complete Semi Auto .308 rifle instead. Anyone knows where I can find DPMS .308 Uppers in stock these days? I really would like a SASS Upper if possible, but at this point I'm not really picky about it. Just want to complete the rifle asap. I'm not very good with putting together ARs so I don't think it's a good idea for me to built a upper on my own. Thanks for all the replies guys!

The ARMALITE July 4th Sale is just around the corner. If you have to bitch about $30 mags[$150/5 pack]... then you don't have enough money to shoot .308 or reload for it, any da-da-damn how.

Good luck on finding the uppers... They are VERY scarce right now. I called CMMG about an upper (MK3 308) and was told approximately 8 weeks.
Seems ALOT of the uppers are harder to get than a completed rifle.

Thats Precisely the Exact Problem I've having right now. I've had the complete Lower for more than a year now and just can't seem to find uppers for it. I'm debating if I should just sell the Lower on the Hide and put the money towards a complete rifle instead. Maybe this will be a better and easier route to go...Thanks for the Good Luck Sir!
