    I've gotten about 10 firings out of my Lapua 260 brass, some of the primer pockets are getting loose, and I'm in the market for more. I've seen the 260 Norma brass is a bit cheaper at Graf's than the Lapua, has anyone used the Norma 260 brass and the Lapua 260 brass? if so hows the comparison?

    Re: 260 brass question.

    I use Win 7-08, some have 25 reloads, they do require full prep, debur flash holes, uniform primer pockets, I even neck turn now but shot plenty of sub 1/2 MOA groups with out neck turning, IMHO Rem 260 brass is pretty good but is hard to find at times and cost too much, Lapua is great brass but doesn't shoot 2.5 times better than my Winchester brass, since I started NT I have even thrown Win 243 in the mix and it shoots exactly the same as the 7-08, and at a match if I lose a piece of brass which I do, I'm only out .40 cents.

    Skinney,

    I've shot just about all of it in three rifles and here's my take;

    Nosler 260 brass, damn near perfect. Some of the best accuracy I've had to date has been with this brass. Primer pockets out lasted the necks in that it work hardened first before the pockets went south. Much better than Lapua IMHO.

    Lapua, while I'm a devout Lapua slut I have to say I'm disappointed in their 260 offering. The accuracy was/is there but, it's 100fps slower than all else with acceptable accuracy.

    RP 260 / Win 7/08, damn fine stuff for the money. The RP hulls are weaker than the win 7/08 brass but they do shoot very good. RP Pockets go pretty quick if your not careful. My 7/08 brass takes 42 grains of H4350 vs 42.6 grains in the RP hulls. RP velocity is 2,850, Win 7/08 velocity is 2,800
