Scoped barreled action out of a McRee folder to perform some needed maintenance, inspection and clean up .

After work was done stabbed the action back into the stock then went out to re-zero.

    Dead on @100m

Kinda surprised as a .01mil adjustment with other stocks/chassis systems has been the norm.

I had a similar experience. Replaced my name brand stock on a GAP Rock rifle and Night Force scope combination. Took the McRee stock out of the box, mounted according to the instructions and went to the range.

Not only did the zero NOT change but the groups were 1/4 MOA tighter. Walked it out to 350 yards and shot a 1 7/8 inch group.

    Sometimes it is the equipment.

Just a thought, maybe the adjustability of this stock helps with getting a good fit to the shooter..

Most of the repeatability is the relationship between the scope and receiver/barrel. That whole thing just sits on the chassis. I've pulled my action from my AICS with no shift. Pull the scope and base and re-torque... like a mil and a half at 100 for wind and elevation.
