Recently had my FN Cerakoted and when I shot it for the first time it would fail to eject. Some at the range to include the gunsmith that did the cerakote said it was just because of the 112 degree day. Went home and tried it in the AC no go once again. Is it possible if the "gunsmith" cerakoted the chamber would that effect. Anyone have this problem once they received their rifles back. Any ideas of what could cause this would be great.

Failure to Extract or Failure to Eject?

Your description is confusing.

A failure to eject could be caused by the blade ejector not being able to move up (could be bound up with Cerakote).

Failure to eject. Looks like I will be taking the rifle apart and making sure its clear and put back together correctly.

Funny shit there! Btw time to get another gunsmith! Everyone makes mistakes; but to blame it on the weather...

Found the problem the coating is preventing the ejector to move freely. Anyone know the best route in getting into that small of a area.

The "Gunsmith" will never touch anything I own or my friends. I wish I could do the whole back to the future fax thing, tv, radio, and whatever else was depicted in that scene saying "YOUR FIRED".
