I have this .50 that I got on a trade about 6 months ago. I have a counter top business and on occasion I will do trades for countertops. In this case I did a partial trade the .50 and some cash for a granite kitchen But now I want to possibly sell or trade it. I am not trying to sell or trade it rite at this moment. I am asking what do you think is a fair asking price for this thing.... I forgot to mention it is gold!

I have seen them for around $1900 retail I did not give near that in trade for it. I told the guy and I still think that a gold .50 is harder to sell because it is GOLD. That makes it more of a novelty. It shoots well and she's pretty but what do you think would be a reasonable price.

I have made a lot of trades for guns recently. It's always trough an FFL. There are a lot of people out there wiling to trade guns they don't use for services. I placed an add on Craig's list and got offers within hours. I have traded for jewelry, guns, ond a few offers on motor vehicles.

A gold DE? Are you sure you wanna part with all that sweet, sweet bling?

Re: My .50 DE

I recently sold a DE that I had for $1900+shipping on gunbroker. Mine was brushed chrome and came with the 44 and 50AE barrels along with 4 magazines...Yours being gold, you could probably pull 1700-1900. The gold ones have been hard to find lately so that will definitely help the used market. Is yours a Mark XIX?

Sooner or later that guy in the video is going to leave his left thumb up and get it totally torn off.

Someone should show him the right way to hold a pistol.

PS I love my matte black .50 DE !
