Re: My KAC SR25 at GPS sniper school in Arizona
Hey guys it performed better than I thought.. The last picture on the bottom was at the 1200 yard range. You had to score two consecutive hits on it and I hit 3rd/4th shot. Wind was swirling pretty good in that valley, but luckily I had a good spotter.
It was funny I would have had 2nd rd hit I think but the wind changed and the spotter told me he was going to tell me to hold, but I squeezed it off just as he was about to and of course missed, but connected on 3 and 4.
The rifle obviously shined above the competition during the moving head shot target with limited exposure at 250 yards. Most of the students were using bolt guns.
The 100 yard grouping were all very good. I have no doubt the rifle can shoot tighter than I can. Everything was around 1/2-3/4 MOA.
My only complaint was that stupid bipod. I should have gotten one much lower and than I would have no complaints.
Also most of the students were using the school guns which are short barreled rem 700s.. I would have prefered that any day on the final stalking exercise. Dragging that rifle was heavy and akward compared to the small 700s
