Here are a few new styles I came up with of knobs using a cartridge case in the end. The far left is just fluted without a case head.

I wouldn't. I can understand knurling, but these grooves look purely cosmetic, as far as I'm concerned.

Too deep, too wide. Some of this gun porn is okay, but I'd sooner focus on function. My shifter is smooth, I see no advantage to having wide, deep grooves. Personal opinion...okay? BB

I need one that is shorter than the Badger knob. Do you have a comparison photo?

That's awesome...I just opened my knob up last week and put my 300 SAUM case in the end. It looks sweet IMO.
My personal fav is the 2nd from the right. I had one made very similar.

Thank you and yes they are alminum. I have done some in stainless also.

The second and third one look nice. The casings in the end is also cool and different. Do you have prices?
