cameras wont do you much good. if the glass in the 10x is the same as my 5-20 you CAN NOT go wrong. Love the clarity on my HD. well worth the money i paid. you will really notice the benefits to higher quality glass when looking into darker or shaded areas. a friend of mine has a Viper PST that has issues seeing into shadows at 700+ my 5-20 doesnt miss a beat
Again I can't compare the two I can say that while shooting a tactical competition a few weeks ago my 5-20SS HD gave me far less issues then a lot of the guys were having as far as resolution and mirage. I would recomend checking out the HD glass.
