Inexpensive tripod

Re: Inexpensive tripod

PRS is the way to go. I have two of their tripods, and Danel has been great at answering my questions.

Re: Inexpensive tripod

I'm using a chassis so I I'm looking for a tripod that can be attached to a pica tinny rail.

Re: Inexpensive tripod

Larue makes a picatinny adapter that will attach to a manfroto tripod others than that you can make your own cradle out a 4x4 metal post holder from home depot some closed cell foam and duct tape and attach your appropriate adaptor to the bottom.

If you just need a tripod, I would look at slik or manfroto. Slik is what PRS uses

Be sure that you want it attached first. I have not used one that is attached to my rifle, but I do own a PRS. It seems the instances where you would want it attached are very limited and for all other times it could be very awkward to readjust, etc. The owner of PRS Tripods seems to think having your rifle free of the tripod is the better way to go also. You might shoot them an email and ask about your options. They are very helpful.
