howdy has any of yall used a 3-12x44 weaver kadpa and would it be ok for a inty level scope i found one for about $ 230. Any though would be great help

Have not used one yet but been looking at it and appears to offer alot for the money. Only catch is made in China which just rubs me wrong these days

Weavers in general have a good reputation. I have never tried the lower end model, but love my 3-15 emdr tactical. I say go for it, then once you have spent more time behind the weapon you'll know more about what you need vs want..then upgrade if necessary.

For $70 more you can get a Weaver Grand Slam tactical 3-10x40 from Midwayusa. They go on sale every other month or so for $299. Also you can cash in on the free hunting backpack

I was looking for some reviews of the Weaver classic extreme series and Chuck Hawks site said they are manufactured in Japan.
