So here's my dilemma, I'm going to SBR an WASR-10 (this is strictly an exercise in looking cool), but I'm going to have some work done to it while I wait for my Form 1.

What should I muzzle device should I have pinned/welded on while I wait for the Form 1?

The rifle will probably end up with a 12.5" barrel when it's all said and one.

I was originally thinking a KX3 but I'm not going to spend $100+ on something that will end up in a parts bin.

I was thinking a 14.5" barrel with a Smith Vortex, but I'd like to hear some of your ideas.

Do any of you have an SBR'ed AK?

Oh, and can anyone recommend someone who does good work on AK's? I've already sent an e-mail to the guys at Rifle Dynamics, but I don't know who else does work on AK's.

Don't say Red Jacket.

those guys from sons of guns might hook it up

I'll send it to American Gun, but only if it gets PussyKoted

I have a AAC Breakout 51T on a LMT 10.5" and it does a real good job. If your state requires it to be pinned/welded on you may as well get something you can hang a suppressor on later if you want. Just an idea.

...Or have Red Jacket build an identical gun to yours, weld them together and make a mount so you can attatch the pair to a 1976 Pinto wagon.

In Range does the best AK work around.

Also if you want a SBR AK you should really take a look at a Krinkov. After it's all said and done bang for your buck pricing weighed against what you get I'd REALLY REALLY look at making a 300blackout AR with an 8-10" barrel. If you want a SBR you might as well go all the way instread of an inch and a half off the regulation and on the worst ak platform in existance....the Romanian WASR-10.
